I felt scared. Uncle Krampus was invincible. He never lost a battle. I shuddered. This was a strong Salamence. I didn't want to fight him again.
His fire breath died down, and he left my uncle's body. With a sudden realization that he was coming for me, I bolted away and found a rock to hide behind.
The Salamence laughed.
I didn't say anything. I was too scared to speak. My mind was racing. There didn't seem to be anything I could do.

The commander steepled his fingers after hearing the latest news. A lock of red hair fell into his face.
The grunt who gave the report stood at an almost military-like attention. The commander knew better. This grunt was just better at hiding his fear than the others.
